What Is MLS NEXT?
MLS NEXT is the youth development platform run by Major League Soccer. It includes MLS club academies and independent clubs that meet its standards, organized into divisions. The MLS NEXT Academy Division member list shows every participating club.

How Juventus Academy LA Connects to MLS NEXT
Juventus Academy LA players reach MLS NEXT through LA Youth (LA-Y):
LA Youth boys' teams compete in the MLS NEXT Academy Division at U13, U14, U15, U16, U17 and U19.
Eligible boys U13 to U19 from Juventus Academy LA can be selected for the MLS NEXT pathway.
LA Youth teams train in West Los Angeles, with North Hollywood starting in 2027.
CAMPO in North Hollywood is the home match field for Juventus Academy LA and LA Youth.
Is MLS NEXT Right for Your Child?
MLS NEXT is demanding. Players train often, travel for games and are evaluated against top national competition. It is a great fit for committed players with strong technique and the maturity to handle pressure. For others, the Coast Soccer League teams at Juventus Academy LA offer high-level competition with more balance.
How to Prepare
Build technique first: first touch, both feet, passing under pressure.
Train consistently through the year, not only during the season.
Work on speed and agility. The CAMPO Fitness and Agility Program is built for this.
Play at a competitive level that challenges your child.
